Position Summary:
The Allocator is a key member of our operations team, responsible for coordinating warehouse and transportation activities. This includes assigning work, directing truck drivers and lift truck operators, and managing inbound and outbound documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate work assignments and direct truck drivers to docks and facility locations.
- Match loads to trucks and coordinate with incoming/outgoing shifts.
- Process inbound and outbound loads using WMS and SAP systems.
- Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate spreadsheets.
- Communicate effectively with customer service and internal teams.
- Lead with a safety-first mindset and attend safety meetings.
- Take clear, legible notes and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Support other shifts or locations as needed.
- Direct lift truck operators and manage daily task flow.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, inventory, or allocation.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and WMS systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and transportation logistics.
Skills:
- Excel & spreadsheet management.
- WMS & SAP experience.
- Inbound/Outbound load processing.
- Cycle counting.
- Cross-functional training adaptability.
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
- Flexibility and teamwork.
PPE Requirements:
- Safety vest.
- Steel toe shoes.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $16.00/hour.

Schedule:
- Shift: Day Shift.
- Hours: Monday–Wednesday, and Friday - Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
